Latvia will provide Ukraine with about five hundred drones. They are already prepared for shipment, according to Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds.

"The next package of drones is ready! About 500 Latvian-made drones will support Ukrainians in carrying out various combat missions," wrote the head of the Latvian Ministry of Defense.

Ukraine will receive this aid as part of the drone coalition.

Drone coalition

This year, Ukraine's partners decided to create a drone coalition. Within its framework, Ukrainian defenders receive the drones that are actively used in the war against Russia.

This initiative is led by the United Kingdom and Latvia. Back in June, Spruds stated that Latvia had delivered the first batch of drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and they want to send the second one in the near future.

In July, the creation of a joint drone coalition fund was announced, with funds to be used for purchasing drones for Ukrainian soldiers.

By the way, it was recently revealed that in July, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used more strike drones than the Russian forces.
