Lacking drones and manpower. Russian troops wearing down in Pokrovsk direction

Russian troops continue their attempts to advance in the Pokrovsk direction, which is where their main efforts are focused. However, the enemy is wearing down, lacking drones and manpower, according to spokesperson of the Khortytsia operational-strategic grouping of troops, Viktor Trehubov.
According to Trehubov, the enemy continues to exert pressure on the front. As before, the main direction remains Pokrovsk, followed by the Novopavlivka direction, and attempts by sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG) to advance on the Kupiansk direction remain relevant.
"The main efforts are still focused on Pokrovsk. The strategic objective of the Russians is clear. In the south, they aim to bypass Pokrovsk from the west, while in the east, they seek to create large 'pincers' around Kostiantynivka. But both objectives are far from being achieved. In the Pokrovsk direction, which is the main one for the Russians, we see that they are wearing down. And they do not hide this," the spokesperson said.
He added that the Russian forces are lacking drones and other equipment.
"Despite the widespread propaganda among the Russians, some individuals cannot hide everything. They constantly mention that they are lacking drones, they are lacking personnel and trained staff," Trehubov added.
Situation in the Pokrovsk direction
In recent months, the Russian troops have been attempting to break through the defense in the Pokrovsk direction. This section is one of the most difficult parts of the front.
As reported by Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson of the Khortytsia operational-strategic grouping of troops, the Russian forces are trying to bypass Pokrovsk from the south. The enemy's tactic is to cut off Ukrainian forces from supply lines.
Additionally, the Russian troops continue their attempts to approach the highway to Dnipro.
At the same time, recently, the pace of the Russian forces' advancement in the Pokrovsk direction has slowed down. One of the reasons for this is the effective defensive actions of the Ukrainian forces in this area.
According to the co-founder and analyst of the Deep State platform, Roman Pohorilyi, the situation near Pokrovsk has recently improved. It has been stabilized, and Ukrainian troops are strengthening their positions.
