Kyiv strike: major damage to buildings in Shevchenkivskyi district

As a result of a large-scale attack by Russian forces, serious damage to residential buildings has been reported in one of Kyiv’s central districts, according to Oleksandr Sazanovych, head of the Shevchenkivskyi District State Administration in Kyiv.
He noted that as a result of the latest massive combined attack, significant damage was recorded to civilian infrastructure in Kyiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district.
In particular, residential buildings sustained damage - roofs, upper floors, facades, and interior spaces were affected.
Multiple drone debris impacts were also reported on non-residential structures.
There are reports of three people injured in the district:

An 86-year-old woman - acute stress reaction;

A 45-year-old man - multiple trauma;

A 59-year-old man - laceration to the foot and closed chest injury.
All received medical assistance.
"I’m keeping the situation under control. District services, medics, rescuers, and police are working swiftly to address the consequences, assist residents, and coordinate response efforts on the ground," Sazanovych stated.
Russian air attack on Kyiv
During the night of July 10, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using Shahed kamikaze drones.
Kyiv was one of the main targets. The city was struck by drones, as well as ballistic and cruise missiles.
Fires broke out in the capital, buildings and gas stations were damaged, and numerous people were injured.
