Kyiv shaken by explosions as drone assault hits city

In the early hours of June 27, explosions were heard in Kyiv. At that moment, the enemy was attacking Ukraine with drones, according to reports from an on-site correspondent and the Ukrainian Air Force channel.
The first explosions were heard around 12:29 a.m. Kyiv time. Earlier, the military had reported that enemy drones were heading toward the capital, specifically from the east.
Additionally, an air raid alert was issued in Kyiv late in the evening on June 26. At the time, the Kyiv City Military Administration also reported that the alert was triggered by hostile drones.
Attacks on Ukraine
On the night of June 26, the Russian forces launched 41 drones toward Ukraine. The main directions of the attack were the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
As of 8 a.m., it was reported that 24 drones had been neutralized: 8 were shot down, and 16 were either locally lost or suppressed by electronic warfare systems.
