Kyiv region targeted by drones: Fatalities and injuries confirmed

As a result of a Russian attack in the Kyiv region, the Bilohorodka community was affected. A multi-story residential building was damaged, and there are reported fatalities, according to Kyiv Regional State Administration head Mykola Kalashnyk on Telegram.
Kalashnyk reported that the roof and top floor of the building were set on fire.
“Rescuers are working on site, and medical teams are on standby and monitoring the situation,” he wrote.
Evacuation of residents is underway, and all necessary emergency assistance is being provided.
Later, Kyiv Regional State Administration head Mykola Kalashnyk reported that two people, a man and a woman, were killed in the Bilohorodka community as a result of the Russian attack.
Four others sought medical assistance. A young woman and two children experienced acute stress reactions, while a man suffered smoke inhalation.
All affected individuals received prompt on-site care, Kalashnyk said.
“Psychologists are working with the people, and medical teams continue their shifts,” he added.
The fire in the residential building has been contained.
Drone attacks on Kyiv and Odesa on the night of January 28
On the night of January 28, Russian forces attacked Kyiv and Odesa with drones.
In Kyiv, the air raid alert lasted nearly two hours, from 01:00 to 02:45 Kyiv time.
According to Kyiv City State Administration head Tymur Tkachenko, drone fragments initially fell onto a road in the Holosiivskyi district. Later, reports emerged of window damage to a residential building caused by falling debris. There were also reports of roof damage to a non-residential building.
Attack on Odesa
In the Kyivskyi district of Odesa, a drone struck the grounds of an Orthodox monastery, causing a fire that was quickly contained by emergency services.
Additionally, a private residential building was hit.
Preliminary reports indicate no casualties or injuries.
