Kyiv region hit by Russian drones, debris damages houses and cars

On the night of Saturday, January 3, Russian forces again attacked Kyiv region with strike drones, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
During the aerial attack, air defense forces were active and successfully shot down enemy targets.
According to the administration, no civilians were injured and no critical infrastructure was hit.
However, debris from the downed drones damaged two private houses, a garage, and two cars in Obukhiv district. Windows were shattered, and building facades and roofs were damaged.
All relevant emergency services are on site documenting the consequences of the latest enemy attack.
Attacks on Ukraine
On January 2, Russian forces struck the center of Kharkiv with two missiles. The Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office confirmed the weapons were Iskander ballistic missiles.
Initial reports indicated the missiles hit a residential high-rise, completely destroying it. Later, it was clarified that a five-story building and part of a four-story apartment building’s entrance were damaged.
The attack resulted in several fatalities and over 30 injuries.
