Kyiv region death toll climbs after Russian strike on July 6

The death toll from Russia's attack on the Kyiv region on Monday, July 6, has risen, according to Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Mykola Kalashnyk.
According to him, a man who suffered severe injuries during the overnight attack on the Kyiv region died in hospital.
"Doctors fought for his life until the very end, but they were unable to save him. As a result, the death toll from this Russian attack on the Kyiv region has risen to nine," Kalashnyk said.
During the night of July 6, the Russian military launched a massive attack on Ukraine using various types of missiles and attack drones. Kyiv and the Kyiv region, including the city of Vyshneve, suffered the heaviest damage.
In the capital, the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts were hit the hardest. Meanwhile, residents of Vyshneve were evacuated due to the risk of a secondary explosion.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that an entire family was killed in Russia's ballistic missile strike on Kyiv.
