Kyiv officials report Shahed drone attack in capital's Podilskyi district
On the morning of October 31, Russia once again attacked Kyiv with drones. In the Podilskyi district, drone debris was recorded falling, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA).
“As a result of the Russian Armed Forces’ attack on Kyiv with strike drones, debris fell in the city’s Podilskyi district,” the statement said at 6:01 a.m. (Kyiv time)
Additionally, preliminary reports indicate information about a fire. Emergency services are currently on their way to the scene.
“Information is being clarified,” added Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
“As a result of falling debris in the Podilskyi district, a grass fire ignited in an open area, covering approximately 50 square meters,” the KCMA stated.
Efforts are currently underway to extinguish the fire. No information on casualties or damage has been reported.

Serhii Popko summarized the results of the nighttime attack by Russia and provided details regarding the consequences. He said a fire in open land in the Podilskyi district was promptly extinguished.
Additionally, window damage was reported in two-story residential buildings and one administrative building. Preliminary data indicates damage to a high-voltage power line.
"No information regarding casualties has been received," he added.
As a reminder, yesterday, during the night of October 30, an air alert in Kyiv lasted more than two hours. Enemy drones were detected and neutralized on time by air defense forces and means.
However, in the Solomianskyi district of the capital, two addresses were recorded as having fallen UAV debris. In the first case, a residential building was damaged, resulting in a fire. Nine people sustained injuries. In the second case, a fire broke out in an administrative building. The fire was extinguished.
