Kyiv Administration reports on consequences of nighttime attack
Air raid alerts in Kyiv lasted for over two hours. Russian drones maintained their consistent tactic, approaching the capital from various directions and at different altitudes, reports the Kyiv City Military Administration.
The air defense forces successfully detected and neutralized the enemy drones promptly, according to the administration.
Preliminary reports indicate that debris from the attack fell in the Solomianskyi district, where a fire broke out in several apartments of a multi-story residential building. Eighteen people were evacuated from the building, and nine individuals were injured, including one child.
At another location in the district, a fire occurred in an administrative building, which was followed by a gas distribution station (GDS) depressurization (now resolved). The fire has been extinguished, with no injuries reported, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.
On the night of October 30, Russia once again attacked Kyiv with drones. The air defense systems were active. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported an explosion in the Solomianskyi district and a fire resulting from drone debris falling in the same area.
Currently, it is known that there was a fire on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the multi-story residential building, as well as in the multi-story administrative building. A total of nine people were injured.
