On the night of September 19, Russian forces attempted to attack the capital with drones. As a result of the attack, the trolleybus network was damaged, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

He reported that, preliminarily, debris from the downed drone was recorded at several locations.

“In particular, on the roadway in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The trolleybus network was damaged,” he informed.

Preliminarily, there were no casualties.

Tkachenko also added that Kyiv authorities are currently assessing the nature of possible damage across the city.

Attacks on Kyiv and other cities

On the night of August 7, Russians launched 810 drones and 13 missiles across Ukraine. Kyiv, Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, and Kremenchuk were targeted by the enemy.

In the capital, the shelling caused damage in the Sviatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi, and Pecherskyi districts.

That night, for the first time since the start of the war, Russian forces attacked the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Initially, it was reported that a drone had hit the building, but it later turned out to be a missile that did not explode.

Additionally, the attack resulted in fatalities and injuries.
