On the night of October 25, an alert was declared in Kyiv and several other regions due to ballistic threats. Following this, a series of explosions were reported in the capital, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration’s Telegram channel.

“Air raid alert in Kyiv due to the threat of ballistic weapons. Immediately use the nearest shelters and remain there until the danger has passed,” the message stated at 03:53 Kyiv time.

The Ukrainian Air Force also reported the ballistic threat and tracked missiles heading toward Kyiv. Subsequently, a series of very loud explosions were heard in the city, and Kyiv City Military Administration Head Timur Tkachenko confirmed the missile attack and reported the work of air defense systems.

This information is also confirmed by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.

Russian forces regularly attack Kyiv with strike drones and missiles of various types.
