Russia strikes Kyiv overnight: Business center, high-rise buildings, kindergarten hit

On the night of October 23, Russians attacked Kyiv with strike drones. As a result of the Russian attack, 7 people were injured in Kyiv, according to Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to Klitschko, 7 people were injured as a result of the Russian attack. 5 of them were hospitalized, and 2 more are receiving outpatient treatment.
Russian attack caused destruction and damage.
In the Podilskyi district of Kyiv:
- Fires broke out in 3 residential buildings
- Blast wave damaged windows in several buildings at different addresses
- Over 40 windows were broken in one of the district's schools
- Some of windows in kindergarten were damaged
- Cars burned in courtyards of several residential buildings
- Debris fell near synagogue.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, in the Podilskyi district, rescuers extinguished a fire in an apartment on the first floor of a five-story residential building, as well as in cars parked nearby. Emergency workers evacuated the residents of the building. The roof and two apartments on the eighth floor of one of the high-rise buildings were partially destroyed.
The facade and windows of a kindergarten were damaged, as well as one of the business centers in the district.
In addition, fires were extinguished in storage facilities at several addresses. In the Podilskyi district, fires were also reported in three residential buildings, windows were broken in a school and a kindergarten, several cars were damaged, and debris fell near a synagogue.
In the Desnianskyi district, a Russian drone hit the 21st floor of a 24-story residential building, but did not detonate. Another drone hit an unfinished building.
In the Obolonskyi district, the blast wave from the downed Russian drone damaged windows in a residential building.
Over 100 rescuers and 28 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were involved in dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack. All fires at the sites of the strikes have been extinguished.
On the evening of Wednesday, October 22, Russians once again attacked Kyiv with strike drones. Russian attack continued into the night.
