Kyiv casualties toll rises after overnight Russian attack

The number of casualties from Russia's missile attack on Kyiv on the night of August 5 has risen to 26, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"There are already 26 casualties in Kyiv as a result of Russia's attack," Klitschko says.
According to him, 16 of the wounded are being treated in city hospitals.
One person was also killed.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, all fires caused by the Russian attack in Kyiv have already been extinguished.
Russian attack on Kyiv
On the night of August 5, Kyiv once again came under a massive Russian attack involving missiles and drones.
Currently, damage has been reported at more than 7 locations in the Holosiivskyi, Obolonskyi, Desnianskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts of Kyiv.
Residential infrastructure in the city has been damaged, fires have broken out in warehouses, and an ammonia leak occurred in the Holosiivskyi district, which has already been contained. One person was killed, and more than 20 were injured.
