Ukraine has every chance and the necessary potential to become a truly successful country after the war with Russia ends, according to US President Donald Trump's special envoy Jared Kushner at the annual YES meeting.

According to Trump's representative, Ukraine will be able to create a system that will eventually overcome corruption and make the country attractive to an influx of capital.

He also believes that the potential and ingenuity Ukrainians have devoted to defending their country against Russia can later be redirected toward economic development.

Kushner believes Ukraine is capable of fully realizing its potential and becoming a "truly exciting" country.

Moreover, the US president's special envoy said he is already working with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's team on a prosperity plan.

According to Kushner, representatives of the World Bank and BlackRock are involved in the process.

"It was very, very interesting to work on this, namely to understand Ukraine's full potential. We studied what its industrial plans had been, what worked and what didn't. And, frankly, I think that with regard to Ukraine, as we studied what its potential is if peace comes, regardless of what the border will be, I hope that we will arrive at something that will be both fair and very acceptable to the Ukrainian people," Kushner added.

By the way, Kushner previously named the main obstacle to peace talks aimed at ending Russia's war against Ukraine.
