Kuleba replied to skeptical partners regarding Russian attack on NATO
Those who do not believe that the war may cross into what is currently NATO territory, should wake up, read history books, and listen to what Putin is saying now, says the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded that there is a war going on in Ukraine and Europe. He urged partners to overcome fear and indecision, resolve internal disagreements, and make strong decisions that will ensure everything necessary for Ukraine. Otherwise, they will have to make decisions of a different scale and tragedy to save their own people and cities.
"Those who do not believe that the war may take place beyond Ukraine, crossing into what is currently NATO territory, please, wake up, read history books, listen to what Putin is saying now," added Kuleba.
What preceded
Recently, there has been increasing discussion in Europe about the possibility of a Russian attack on NATO countries.
In particular, the Minister of Defense of Germany, Boris Pistorius, recently stated that Russia could attack the Alliance within 5-8 years. It is necessary to prepare for the worst-case scenario.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis, also warned of a possible sudden attack by Russia on NATO countries.
As Alexander Musiyenko, the head of the Center for Military-Legal Studies, explained in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, Russia's main goal in the event of an attack on NATO is to create a rift within the Alliance.
