Russia is ready to supply any volume of diesel fuel for export. Following the conclusion of a relevant agreement with the US, global oil prices dropped by 5-6%, states Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

According to the Russian deputy prime minister, the country is ready to meet any market demand for diesel.

"As much as our partners want, frankly speaking, from the volume we will supply for export. We can supply everything," Novak noted.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin stated Moscow's interest in restoring economic cooperation with the US.

Fuel supplies and the announcement of new agreements have become part of this process.

Previously, the Kremlin expressed hopes of fully restoring diesel export volumes following the agreement with the US.

Moscow also announced preparations for the first shipment to the US and the possibility of expanding its customer base in the global market.

This was preceded by negotiations between Washington and Moscow, resulting in an agreement between US President Donald Trump and Putin on the supply of Russian diesel to global and American markets.

Under this agreement, the US Department of the Treasury issued a temporary license suspending certain sanctions and allowing Russia to begin export shipments.
