Russia has finalized the composition of its delegation for the upcoming round of negotiations with the US and Ukraine regarding the end of the war. The delegation will comprise senior diplomats and military officials, reports Reuters.

The trilateral meeting is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11, where the parties plan to discuss an end to Russia's war against Ukraine. These will mark the first talks of this kind since February.

According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, the Russian delegation will once again be led by Kremlin advisor Vladimir Medinsky. However, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov will join the delegation for the first time.

Ryabkov is responsible for Russia's relations with North and South American countries and oversees arms control, non-proliferation, and issues related to Iran's nuclear program.

Another new participant is Yuriy Zhyharlovskyi, a senior officer of the Russian General Staff. He serves as Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff, the body responsible for military planning and the execution of operations.

The delegation will also feature Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and the head of Russian military intelligence, Igor Kostyukov, both of whom have participated in previous negotiations.

Ukraine has already announced the composition of its delegation for the trilateral talks with the US and Russia in Abu Dhabi, which will include Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Budanov.

Although he initially stated he would lead the negotiating team, presidential communications advisor Dmytro Lytvyn later clarified that Budanov would serve as one of its participants.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has emphasized the necessity of discussing security guarantees during the upcoming peace talks in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11.
