Kremlin responds for first time to Ukraine-US talks in Saudi Arabia

Russia is studying the statements made following yesterday’s meeting between Ukrainian and US delegations in Saudi Arabia. Negotiations between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump are not ruled out, the news website Meduza reports, citing Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
"We are carefully studying the statements made following the meeting. We are reviewing the text of the joint statement that was adopted in Jeddah. We expect that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Voltz will inform us through various channels in the coming days about the details of the negotiations that took place and the understandings reached," said Peskov.
According to the Russian Presidential Press Secretary, it is also possible that a phone conversation at the highest level could take place. If such a need arises, it will be organized quickly.
