Russian President Vladimir Putin issued another round of delusional statements regarding Russia's war against Ukraine and the humane army of Russia, states the Kremlin leader at the Valdai forum.

Putin invents a reason for the war

The Russian leader cynically claimed that it was not Russia that started fighting, but that others started fighting against it, encouraging nationalism in Ukraine.

According to Putin's distorted view, NATO should not have begun developing historical Russian territories (referring to Ukraine).

"Russia was deliberately placed in a situation where it had to consciously defend itself with weapons in hand," Putin fabricated as the reason for the war.

He cynically added that everyone wants to live, so let "us live in harmony and together seek ways to do so".

"Humanism" of Russia's army

The Kremlin leader also falsely claimed that the occupiers had never violated the rules of warfare. Against the backdrop of massive terror against peaceful Ukrainian cities, he added that Russia supposedly does not attack civilian targets first.

"Russian military personnel have always been guided by the inviolability of the norms of warfare and have never intentionally attacked civilian infrastructure objects first," he said.

Putin cynically stated that the continuation of international conflicts is possible in the near future.

In addition, the US invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to the G20 summit in Miami. The meeting will take place in December.
