Russia is once again threatening humanity with "international conflicts" while hiding behind the guise of a "struggle for peace." It shifts the blame for wars onto Western countries, according to Putin's speech at the annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
Putin threatens the world
Putin cynically stated that the continuation of international conflicts is possible in the near future.
According to him, the world supposedly needs to avoid catastrophic scenarios. The leader of the aggressor state brazenly advised the world to take practical actions to prevent humanity from sliding to the brink of survival.
Russia finds someone to blame
In Putin's opinion, Western countries have a disproportionately large influence on the UN, which leads to an imbalance.
"Russia supports a fair reform of the UN, but this is impossible without consensus, which is currently difficult to achieve," Putin falsely added.
He accused global politics of violating all conceivable and inconceivable taboos. He claimed that countries around the world are following the principle of might makes right, but that this will not lead to anything good.
Putin’s circle was outraged that the US demanded Russia first resolve the situation around Ukraine and only then restore economic cooperation with the US.
Furthermore, Putin made a series of absurd statements at the first session of the 9th convocation of the Russian State Duma. He once again began to assure that the Russian people supposedly cannot be intimidated or broken.
