Kremlin fires back at Zelenskyy's claim of 30,000 North Korean troops

The Kremlin has responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement that Russia wants to involve North Korean troops in the war in Ukraine, according to TASS.
In particular, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for Putin, responded nervously to the Ukrainian President’s remarks.
"I don’t see any need to comment on this. It’s not up to Zelenskyy to talk about our plans," he says.

Zelenskyy recently stated that Putin was laying the groundwork for expanded mobilization in Russia. According to him, Moscow also plans to recruit additional troops from North Korea.
The head of state reported that Russia wants to receive another 30,000 troops from North Korea. Specifically, preparations to receive them have been underway in the Voronezh region since June.
The President also noted that North Korea was preparing to transfer new ballistic missile launchers to Russia, which poses a threat not only to Ukraine.
In addition, Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia was helping North Korea gain combat experience, improve its weapons, and practice their use in real combat conditions.
The President recently reported that Ukrainian intelligence had information indicating that the Kremlin is preparing a new phase of mobilization into the Russian army in the coming months.
According to Zelenskyy, the upcoming wave of mobilization could be quite large-scale.
