Kherson under fire: Russian attacks leave 2 dead, injured, and major destruction

Russian forces struck residential areas and critical infrastructure in Kherson region, according to a statement from Alexander Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.
According to Prokudin, Russian troops targeted:

critical and social infrastructure
-
residential areas in the region
During the attack, the occupiers damaged 13 apartment buildings and 4 private homes. They also destroyed:

a gas station
-
shops
-
a warehouse
-
private vehicles
Prokudin added that 2 people were killed and 5 others injured as a result of the Russian aggression.
Attack on Ukraine on October 12
On the night of Sunday, October 12, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, launching over 100 strike drones and one Kh-31 missile.
According to RBC-Ukraine, Ukraine's air defense successfully engaged most of the enemy targets.
The strikes left Donetsk region without electricity, as the enemy deliberately targeted energy facilities in the area overnight.
Meanwhile, in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, restoration work is ongoing to repair critical infrastructure damaged during the night-time Russian drone attack.
