Kharkiv strikes: Six dead, over 50 injured
The death toll from the strike on Kharkiv on Friday, August 30, has risen to six. The number of injured has also increased, according to the Telegram channel of Oleh Siniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
"Unfortunately, the death toll has risen to six," Siniehubov wrote.
Meanwhile, Dmitry Chubenko, a spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, told RBC-Ukraine that as of 7:30 p.m.,the number of wounded was 57.
Specifically, in the Nemyshlianskyi district, a strike hit a park area, resulting in 15 injuries.
In the Industrial district, a strike occurred between the 10th and 11th floors of a 12-story building. At this point, 35 people have been injured there.
In the Slobidskyi district, a private residence was hit, injuring 7 people.
Kharkiv strike
Around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 30, the Russian army struck Kharkiv with aerial bombs.
It was later revealed that the Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with five guided aerial bombs from a Su-34 aircraft. The bombs were launched from the village of Dubovoe, near Belgorod. Siniehubov also shared photos of the aftermath of the attack on Kharkiv.
