On the night of June 30, Russia attacked the Kharkiv region using Shahed-type strike drones, reports Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

According to him, damage to buildings was recorded in three settlements as a result of the enemy attack.

In the village of Pisochyn, a drone strike damaged a car service building, which then caught fire.

“The village of Kurotne, Chuhuiv district. As a result of the shelling, a civilian building was damaged and caught fire,” Syniehubov added.

A Shahed drone strike was also recorded in the city of Derhachi, Kharkiv district. Preliminary reports indicate the building was damaged and a fire broke out. So far, there have been no reports of casualties.

Updated at 2:15 a.m. Kyiv time. In Pisochyn, three people required medical assistance. According to Syniehubov, they are receiving all necessary care.

Russia’s attacks on Kharkiv

Russia continuously attacks Kharkiv with drones and missiles. On June 25, Russia launched at least seven Shahed drone strikes on the city. As a result, an unoccupied residential building was damaged and caught fire.

On June 28, Russia also attacked Kharkiv with drones. The shelling caused a private house to catch fire.

In the early hours of June 30, amid another wave of Shahed launches by Russia, explosions were heard in the city. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the explosions occurred outside the city limits.
