On the night of November 19, Russia launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv. More than 30 people were injured in the strike, including a child, according to Kharkiv regional chief Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram.

“Among those injured in the UAV attack is a 13-year-old girl. She’s been diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. At this moment, medics are treating 11 injured,” he wrote at 01:07 Kyiv time.

The number of victims continued to rise. By 01:23 Kyiv time, at least 20 people required medical assistance, and ten minutes later the figure had grown to 22. Syniehubov said all of them are receiving medical care.

The head of the regional administration reported that the number of injured has risen to 32. Among them is another child — a 9-year-old girl, who is also experiencing an acute stress reaction.

Attack on Kharkiv

The overnight attack on Kharkiv began late on November 18 and continued into the early hours of November 19.

According to the regional administration, preliminary reports indicate that 11 drones targeted the city’s Slobidskyi and Osnovianskyi districts.

The strike caused an impact on a nine-story residential building, triggering a fire. Garages were also burning.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said there was also preliminary information about a strike near one of the city’s medical facilities.
