The Russian army massively attacked Ukraine on the night of November 3. The Kharkiv, Odesa region and western regions were under attack.

What weapon did Russia attack with?

That night, the Russians released 40 kamikaze drones over Ukraine. The launches were from the Kursk region and the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region. Also, the occupiers released a Kh-59 guided air missile from the occupied territory of the Kherson region.

Shaheds were launched in waves and headed in different directions in small groups. An air alert was announced in most regions, and air defense was in operation.

Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 24 Shaheds and an air missile.

Kharkiv

Kharkiv suffered the most as a result of the night attack of the occupiers. According to the prosecutor's office, the occupiers attacked the city with 10 drones, and the local authorities claim 4 Shaheds.

The strikes hit the Osnovyanskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city. The hits caused 5 fires. An administrative building, a defunct sewing shop building, a residential building, a service station, garages, and cars were damaged.

After the attack, 8 residents of Kharkiv with an acute reaction to stress turned to doctors, among them two children - a 10-year-old boy and a 2.5-year-old girl. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the shelling.

The prosecutor's office also reported that two non-residential buildings caught fire in the village of Korotych, a suburb of Kharkiv, due to an enemy attack.

Local media reported that the transport technology college in Moskalivka was damaged due to the attack. The college building, dating back to 1915, has suffered significant destruction (in the photo below).

The Odesa region

The Odesa region was once again under attack from the enemy. As the City Military Administration notes, air defense shot down two drones in the region, but there were hits.

The occupiers hit the technical territory of the infrastructure object in the Odesa region. According to preliminary data, there were no serious damages or casualties

Lviv and the region

During the air alert, the Head of Lviv City Military Administration reported the threat of drone strikes. It was about Lviv, Yavoriv, Stryi and Morshyn.

The mayor of Lviv said that 16 Shaheds threatened the Lviv region at night. According to local authorities, the military destroyed 11 enemy drones. It was calm in Lviv itself.

Later, the head of the City Military Administration reported on 5 hits on a critical infrastructure object. A fire broke out there, no one was injured.

The Ivano-Frankivsk region

The Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that around 6:00 a.m., debris from a downed drone fell in the Kalush district. As a result, a fire broke out in the dormitory. There is no information about the victims yet.

The Head of the City Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, said that the invaders attacked a military facility in the Ivano-Frankivsk region using drones. A fire broke out, the relevant services arrived at the scene.

Where else have drones been shot down

That night, explosions were also heard in Kropyvnytskyi. The Southern Defense Forces reported that they shot down 3 Shaheds and a Kh-59 missile in the Kirovohrad region.

Two more drones were shot down in the Mykolaiv region, and one drone each landed in the Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, and Vinnytsia regions.

Zelenskyy promises an answer

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the military for their work. He added that Ukraine will continue strengthening air defense on winter's eve.

"We realize that with the approaching winter, Russian terrorists will try to inflict more damage. We will respond to the enemy. Powerfully!" Zelenskyy wrote on social networks.
