Kellogg meets with foreign ministers and ambassadors to discuss peace in Ukraine

US Special Envoy Keith Kellogg held meetings with foreign ministers and ambassadors from several countries. The key topic of discussion was the path to achieving peace in Ukraine, according to Kellogg’s post on X and Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský's post on X.
Kellogg met with top Baltic diplomats, including Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, and Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.
According to him, the meeting was dedicated to “the path to peace in Ukraine.”
"Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are critical strategic partners for the United States," Kellogg added.
Meeting with the Czech Foreign Minister
Kellogg called the meeting with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský constructive.
The parties discussed steps to ensure sustainable peace in Ukraine and Europe.
For his part, Lipavský said that Kellogg was interested in the Czech perspective on Russian aggression.
"Ukraine needs to be armed enough to negotiate from a strong position. Clearly in the Czech interest that Russia never dares to attack its neighbor again," Lipavský added.
Meeting with the Ambassadors of Italy and the UK
Kellogg discussed cooperation on restoring stability and peace in Ukraine and the region with the Italian Ambassador to the US, Mariangela Zappia.
He also described Italy as a "cherished transatlantic partner."
Meanwhile, Kellogg held important discussions on ending the war in Ukraine with the British Ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, and UK Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser, Jonathan Powell.
"The United Kingdom is a vital partner in this endeavor," the US Special Envoy emphasized.
Kellogg is preparing a peace plan
Earlier, Semafor reported that Keith Kellogg, the US President's Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, is preparing options for ending the war in Ukraine. He will present them to President Donald Trump.
The media outlet specified that Kellogg wants to coordinate his actions with officials from all NATO member states.
