The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, stated that the Russian Federation continues the war and is "unrelenting" in its attacks against Ukraine. The West must continue to pressure the terrorist country, according to The Guardian.

Commenting on the overnight shelling by Russia, Kallas called the attack "one of the most devastating airstrikes on Kyiv during the war."

"Russia remains unrelenting in its attacks, targeting civilians and prolonging its war. This is yet another sign Russia is just not interested in peace. So we must keep up the pressure," said Kallas.

In the same statement, Kallas supported lowering the price cap on Russian oil and opposed allowing Russia to act as a mediator in any conflict.

"While we see actions like this and he’s not mediator that can really be considere," Kallas explained.
