Japanese invented human washing machine
The Japanese company Science Co. plans to unveil a futuristic human washing machine at the 2025 World Expo, reports Oddity Central, a website dedicated to unusual and bizarre news from around the world.
Details about the invention
This is an advanced version of the concept first presented by Sanyo Electric Co., at the Osaka Expo in 1970. The original device called the Ultrasonic Bath, was an egg-shaped capsule that cleaned the body with hot water and ultrasonic bubbles.
The new version, named Mirai Ningen Sentakuki (Human Washing Machine of the Future), combines modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and biometric sensors.

The device offers a 15-minute washing and drying cycle. It is filled with warm water and uses sensors to assess the user's physical condition, including stress and fatigue levels. Based on this data, AI projects relaxing visuals, creating a personalized relaxation session. The innovation is designed to provide complete body cleansing and improve psychological well-being.
Science Co. plans to allow a limited number of participants to test the machine during the exhibition. The company's CEO, Yasuaki Aoyama, inspired by the original 1970 design, sees this device as a symbol of Japan's innovative approach in the fields of healthcare and wellness technology.
