The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated Ibrahim Abu-Maghsib, Head of Hamas' Anti-Tank Missile Unit, in the Central Camps Brigade, according to the IDF press service.

The leader of the Hamas anti-tank missile unit was eliminated during an airstrike by the Israel Defense Forces.

"As part of his position, Maghsib directed and carried out numerous anti-tank missile launches directed at Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers," the IDF spokesperson added.

The Israeli Navy targeted the launch sites of Hamas anti-tank missiles, which were used to attack IDF forces in the Gaza Strip.

War in Israel

On October 7, Hamas militants launched an attack on Israel. During the attack, terrorists killed and kidnapped not only military personnel but also civilians. Israel, in turn, was regularly shelled from the Gaza Strip. Jerusalem initiated an operation against the terrorists.

On October 27, the IDF announced the commencement of offensive operations in the Gaza Strip. Following this, the Israel Defense Forces began striking targets in the region.

According to the IDF, Hamas has currently lost control of the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
