Israel's military operation against Hezbollah
In recent months, Hezbollah militants have regularly shelled northern areas of Israel in support of Hamas terrorists during the war in Gaza. In response, the Israeli army has targeted southern Lebanon.
On October 1, the IDF launched an operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon. The objective is to eliminate Hezbollah assets and leaders, as well as push the terrorists away from the border to allow residents of northern Israel to return home.
On the same day, Iran launched a massive attack on Israel, firing 180 ballistic missiles.
Israel has been conducting regular strikes against Hezbollah’s headquarters and other targets in Lebanon, eliminating leaders of the group.
