Israel strikes Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters in Beirut
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched strikes on Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters in Beirut, as well as other terrorist targets, according to the Israel Defense Forces' official Telegram channel.
"Israeli Air Force fighter jets conducted intelligence-based strikes on terror targets belonging to Hezbollah's Intelligence Headquarters in Beirut, including intelligence-gathering means, command centers, and additional terrorist infrastructure sites," the IDF stated.
Additionally, the IDF reported that over the past few hours, its air forces conducted strikes on Hezbollah weapons depots in the Beirut area. Secondary explosions were recorded following the strikes, indicating the presence of munitions.
The Israeli army emphasized that Hezbollah deliberately placed its command centers and weapons under residential areas in central Beirut, thereby endangering the population in the area.
"Additionally, IAF fighter jets struck Hezbollah terror targets in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa area, including weapons storage facilities, terror infrastructure sites, a command center, and a launcher," the IDF added.
As a reminder, following the elimination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Iranian Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani traveled to Beirut. However, a week ago, after another IDF attack, contact with him disappeared.
