The IDF has been "instructed" and knows that to achieve all objectives, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei "cannot continue to exist", says Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz.

During a speech following the latest wave of Iranian missile attacks, Katz stated that Khamenei "cannot continue to exist."

"A dictator like Khamenei, who heads a country like Iran and has made the destruction of Israel his mission, cannot continue to exist," he added, noting that the IDF had been "instructed" accordingly.

Israel-Iran war

On June 13, Israel launched airstrikes targeting Iran's military and nuclear infrastructure. The strikes reportedly killed dozens of high-ranking officers and specialists involved in Tehran’s nuclear program.

Since then, Iran and Israel have been exchanging fire daily.

Today, June 19, Tehran launched another missile strike on Israel. One of the targets was the Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva.

In response, Katz announced that Israel will intensify its strikes on Iranian territory following Tehran's attacks on Israeli cities.

Recently, media outlets reported that US President Donald Trump had allegedly prohibited Israel from assassinating Khamenei. However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied this claim.
