Iran launched another ballistic missile strike on Israel this morning, June 19, hitting multiple regions. A hospital was struck and several people were injured, the Times of Israel reports.

One of the Iranian ballistic missiles reportedly hit Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. According to current information, around 30 people have been injured due to the attack.

In total, after the latest Iranian missile strike on central and southern Israel, at least four missile impact sites have been identified. There were reported hits on residential buildings in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and Holon.

According to local media, Iran launched at least 20 missiles at Israeli territory this morning.

What led up to this

On the night of June 13, Israel launched Operation codenamed Rising Lion, targeting Iranian military facilities, particularly those linked to its nuclear and missile programs.

In response, Iran carried out strikes on Israel. It remained unclear whether the United States would intervene or if US forces would target Iranian military infrastructure.

In addition, yesterday US President Trump declared that he would not allow Iran to get nuclear weapons, saying it would have catastrophic consequences for the world.

As for the final decision on whether the US military will join Israel's current strikes on Iran, Trump said the decision has not yet been made.
