Israel plans to capture entire Gaza Strip under new plan - AP

Israel has approved a new plan to capture all of the Gaza Strip. This could lead to a worsening humanitarian crisis, AP reports.
On Monday, Israel approved a plan for full control over the Gaza Strip and a prolonged presence in its territory.
Two Israeli officials told AP that the plan involves a large-scale expansion of the operation, a new mobilization of reservists, and further displacement of Hamas.
This decision could lead to further forcible displacement of Palestinians and a deepening humanitarian crisis.
In addition, Israel accuses Hamas of using humanitarian aid to strengthen its positions.
UN declined to participate
According to a briefing note distributed among humanitarian organizations, Israel plans to use private security companies to oversee the distribution of aid in special logistics centers.
Israel also informed the UN of its plans to hand over aid distribution to private security firms.
Palestinians will receive SMS messages with the time and location of aid distribution, and access will be granted through a facial recognition system.
The UN has already stated that it will not participate in the presented plan, considering it a violation of humanitarian principles.
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum criticized Israel's new strategy, stating that it endangers the lives of kidnapped civilians. Some relatives publicly called on soldiers not to report for duty on moral grounds.
Israel's operation in Gaza
Recently, Western media reported that the Israeli military had issued call-up notices for thousands of reservists to expand its offensive in Gaza.
Furthermore, Bloomberg reported on the Israel Defense Forces's readiness to intensify its military operation in Gaza, noting that this could happen within a few days.
On the evening of May 4, the news emerged that Israel might further intensify its offensive in Gaza ahead of Trump's visit to the region.
