The Israeli army struck Hezbollah targets on Lebanese territory. The targets included a militant training camp and facilities for producing precision missiles in the Bekaa Valley, as well as military infrastructure, according to the IDF press service.

According to the Israeli army, the strike hit a complex that Hezbollah used to train terrorists for attacks on Israeli soldiers and to plan assaults against Israel.

At the base, training was conducted with live ammunition, and exercises were carried out in the use of various types of weapons.

In addition, infrastructure for the production of precision missiles in the Bekaa Valley and another military facility of the group in the Sharbin area in northern Lebanon were destroyed.

"The storage of weapons, the presence of terror infrastructure sites, and conduct of military training against the State of Israel by Hezbollah terrorists constitute a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon and pose a threat to the State of Israel," the IDF said.

The army emphasized that it would continue operations aimed at eliminating any threats to Israel from the Hezbollah group.

Fighting between Israel and Hezbollah

Earlier, the Israeli army attacked Hezbollah’s largest factory for the production of precision missiles. It is located on Lebanese territory.

Before that, the IDF also struck Hezbollah’s rocket launchers in Lebanon.

Despite the fact that in November last year, Israel and Hezbollah agreed on a temporary ceasefire and several other steps to resolve the conflict, hostilities are still being observed.

For example, in July this year, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem announced his refusal to disarm despite pressure from Israel and the United States.
