Israel eliminates Hezbollah chief propagandist
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killed the chief propagandist and spokesperson for the Hezbollah terrorist group, Mohammed Afif. He glorified terrorist activities against Israel, reports Bild.
Afif was a high-ranking Hezbollah military operative. He maintained ties with representatives of the highest echelons of power and directly coordinated activities aimed at implementing terrorist operations against Israel.
Through the Lebanese media, Afif actively disseminated propaganda statements praising terrorist acts against Israelis. He was also a key figure in numerous psychological operations aimed at intimidating and demoralizing the Israeli civilian population.
War in Israel
In September, Israel launched a large-scale military operation in Lebanon in response to months of shelling by Hezbollah. These attacks were carried out in support of Hamas and the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.
The IDF's operation caused serious losses among Hezbollah's leadership and significantly reduced its military potential, including its arsenal of weapons. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, hundreds of civilians were killed in the fighting, and more than a million people were forced to flee their homes.
Despite the ongoing ceasefire negotiations, the intensity of Israeli attacks increased greatly last week. IDF intensified bombing and ground operations.
