US military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities have become a turning point in Israel's campaign against the Iranian regime, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) report.

In particular, Israel's Chief of General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, today, June 22, assessed the situation with members of the General Staff Forum.

"We are on day ten of Operation 'Rising Lion.' So far, we have achieved many objectives, including significantly damaging Iran's nuclear program. We've reached a turning point in the campaign, following last night's very precise and impressive strike by the US military on key nuclear sites," the Chief of Staff said.

According to Zamir, this strike was made possible thanks to the bold leadership of American partners and as a result of their joint diplomatic and military efforts.

LTG explained that during months of planning, he maintained close contact with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Caine.

"We must not forget: the campaign is ongoing and we still have targets to strike and objectives to complete. We continue to increase the rate of our strikes in accordance with the operational plan, and we are prepared to continue for as long as necessary," Zamir noted.

At the same time, the Chief of Staff reported that, alongside yesterday’s strikes, IDF and ISA forces carried out a comprehensive operation and discovered the bodies of hostages: Ofra Keidar, Yonatan Samerano, and Staff Sergeant Shay Levinson.

"We continue to do everything possible to bring back all the hostages - this is a core mission to which the IDF remains fully committed at all times," Zamir emphasized.

Israel's Chief of General Staff stressed that the Israeli army remains vigilant and prepared on all fronts.

"The IDF has demonstrated its determination and capabilities - anyone who tries to challenge us will pay a heavy price. We will not compromise on the security of the civilians of the State of Israel," the Chief of Staff concluded.

US attack on Iran

On the night of June 22, the US launched strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.

According to Donald Trump, Iran's nuclear program was destroyed.

Reports indicate that the strikes on Iran's nuclear sites were carried out with GBU-57A/B MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator) super-heavy anti-bunker bombs. Preliminary estimates indicate that all three targeted sites suffered severe damage.

Despite US warnings urging Iran not to respond to the attack, Tehran has nevertheless promised to respond to the American strike.
