Iran will consider the defensive actions of European countries in the context of US and Israeli operations as an "act of war." Strikes on Europe may follow, stated a representative of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to Euronews.

The official warned that Europe’s defensive measures could lead to attacks on European cities and countries.

"It would be an act of war. Any such act against Iran would be regarded as complicity with the aggressors," he added.

He complained that Iran is being deprived "of its capability and capacity to fight back against aggressors."

"That would be a shame if these countries take sides with the aggressors, they have already done enough against Iran," said the Iranian Foreign Ministry representative.

Strike on the British base in Cyprus

On Monday, March 2, Iranian drones attacked the British Royal Air Force base Akrotiri in Cyprus. It is believed that the drones may have been launched by Hezbollah from Lebanese territory.

In response, the UK has reinforced the defense of its military base on the Mediterranean island. Greece, Germany, and France have also promised to help Cyprus strengthen its defenses.

Ukraine’s support for Persian Gulf countries

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan how Ukraine could assist in protecting residents of Persian Gulf countries from attacks.

According to Zelenskyy, the teams of both countries will work on this issue.

Previously, the Ukrainian leader suggested sending the best Ukrainian specialists to the Middle East to intercept Shahed drones if the Arab leaders could convince Russia to agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine.
