Iran failed to remove enriched uranium from its nuclear facilities before the US strike. Doing so would have been too dangerous, according to US President Donald Trump on Truth Social.

Trump explained that the cars and small trucks spotted near Iran’s nuclear facilities belonged to concrete workers who were trying to reinforce the protection of the upper parts of the silos.

"Nothing was taken out of facility. Would take too long, too dangerous, and very heavy and hard to move!" the president noted.

Rumors about enriched uranium

Earlier, unnamed Iranian officials told Reuters that Iran had allegedly managed to remove most of the enriched uranium from the Fordow facility ahead of the US strike.

Personnel were also evacuated from the site, and only a few people remained there.

At the same time, Western media, citing US intelligence, reported that the United States had not fully destroyed Iran’s nuclear program, contrary to what US officials claimed.

Against this backdrop, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth emphasized that such rumors are fake.
