Iran's embassy social media accounts unleashed a barrage of attacks on US President Donald Trump over his recent threats, which were filled with profane language, according to Politico.

Tehran criticized Trump after he, in an aggressive post on his Truth Social platform, promised to strike Iranian civilian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, if a deal is not reached to restore operations of the strategically vital waterway.

"Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran," he wrote.

"There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuc*** Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in hell – just watch!," he added, along with a series of further threats.

How the embassies responded

Iran's embassy in Thailand suggested the president watch his language, while Tehran's embassy in Austria wrote:

"When you listen to him, close your eyes … you can almost see a Stone Age #caveman in a zebra hide, brandishing a club and treating savagery like everyday life."

Iran's embassy in India stated: "Swearing and throwing insults are how sore loser brats behave."

Tehran's embassy in Finland said that Trump's post demonstrates his unfamiliarity with proper etiquette and morals on social media.

Several other X accounts, which appear to be Iranian embassies in various other countries, also joined in the trolling. However, while the embassies of Austria, India, and Finland had gray checkmarks indicating they were official accounts, the others could not be immediately verified.

As is known, Washington and Israel have been waging war against Iran for five weeks, killing the country's leadership and destroying its military infrastructure.

The conflict, which has roiled global energy markets due to Tehran's closure of key oil shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz, has no obvious end in sight, although Trump has hinted that a deal with the Iranian regime is close.
