Iran has once again denied the transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia. After the imposition of US sanctions, Tehran stated that the restrictions are allegedly not a solution but part of the problem, according to Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Twitter (X).

"Once again, US and EU act on faulty intelligence and flawed logic," wrote Iran's Foreign Minister.

He claimed that Tehran allegedly has not transferred ballistic missiles to Moscow. At the same time, the Iranian minister argues that sanctions are not a solution to the problem but part of it.

"Sanction addicts should ask themselves: how is Iran able to make & supposedly sell sophisticated arms? Sanctions are NOT a solution, but part of problem," Araghchi added.

Iran transferred missiles to Russia

Recently, Western media reported that Iran had transferred short-range ballistic missiles to Russia. Officially, Tehran denied the supply, but an Iranian MP let slip in a media interview that Iran had provided missiles to Russia as part of a barter agreement.

Ukraine called on Iran to stop aiding the Russian army in the war.

Yesterday, on September 10, the US announced new sanctions against Iran for transferring ballistic missiles to Russia.
