iPhone and iPad can now replace PC thanks to innovation
Apple has reversed its decision and approved the UTM SE app, the first PC emulator for iPhone and iPad available on the App Store. This app allows you to run older versions of Windows, macOS, and more on your iPhone or iPad, according to 9to5Mac.

In April, Apple revised the App Store rules, allowing game emulators. This change extended to the European Union and worldwide. As a result, several game emulators, including the popular Nintendo emulator Delta, appeared in the App Store.
However, the UTM SE PC emulator app was rejected by Apple in June, despite the rule changes. Moreover, Apple rejected the app not only from the global App Store but also from third-party app stores in the European Union.
Initially, Apple explained its decision by stating that only retro game emulators were allowed, not PC emulators, even though running old games is one of the main reasons users employ emulators like UTM. This decision caused an uproar and potential actions from the European Commission.
However, this weekend, the developers of UTM SE confirmed on social media that Apple had reversed its stance. UTM SE is now available for download from the App Store.
It will also soon be available through AltStore PAL in the EU. Apple has yet to explain what led to this turn of events.
Apps distributed on iOS cannot use the JIT compiler. This means that the functionality and performance of emulators running through UTM SE on iPhone and iPad will not be as high as on other platforms.
