Industries Minister reveals significant surge in Ukraine's munitions production
Ukraine has significantly increased the production of ammunition. This concerns mines and artillery shells, reports Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin at a meeting with journalists.
He has emphasized that the share of production by private companies is approaching the share of state production. Previously, there was a monopoly in this industry.
At the same time, according to the minister, this year Ukraine has increased production threefold and plans to increase it sixfold next year.
"Munitions. We already have a significant increase in the range: by 42 times in mines and almost three times in artillery shells. There is a shortage of explosives - powders - a global shortage," adds Kamyshin.

What preceded this
Ukraine significantly increased munitions production after the full-scale invasion by the Russians.
This year, Kamyshin noted that from January to July, Ukraine produced ten times more munitions.
However, the minister clarified that this quantity was still insufficient for our country.
