India air disaster: MFA responds to whether Ukrainians were on board

Near the airport of Ahmedabad, India, a passenger plane crash occurred. There were no Ukrainians among the passengers, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
"The presence of Ukrainians on board the Air India flight has not been confirmed," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

Shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, a plane crashed in the Meghani Nagar area, causing a large-scale fire.
Recent media reports indicate that there were 242 people on board.
According to Flightradar24, the aircraft involved in the crash was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with the registration number VT-ANB. Representatives of Air India confirmed this information, stating that the plane was operating a flight from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick Airport.
Emergency services, including firefighters, rescuers, and medical teams, are currently working at the crash site. Information about fatalities or injuries has not yet been released.
