In Russia's Novosibirsk, major fuel network stops selling AI-92 gasolin for non-commercial drivers

In Novosibirsk, the popular Prime gas stations have imposed restrictions on the sale of AI-92 gasoline. It is now available only to selected customers, according to the Prime Telegram channel.
"Due to the suspension of shipments from oil refineries, most Prime gas stations have been forced to halt sales of AI-92 gasoline starting today," the company's statement said.
It clarified that this type of fuel is sold "only under contracts to enterprises and organizations that ensure the safety and vital operations of the city of Novosibirsk."
Fuel crisis in Russia
Across Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, a serious fuel crisis continues. It began after Ukrainian defenders carried out a series of successful strikes on Russian oil refineries.
In particular, fuel sale restrictions in occupied Crimea have been tightened. While drivers were previously allowed to buy up to 30 liters of gasoline, the limit has now been reduced to 20.
On October 8, it was also reported that similar measures were introduced in the Tyumen and Sverdlovsk regions.
According to Bloomberg, Russia has also been forced to redirect massive volumes of crude oil for export. As a result, its seaports are now operating at full capacity.
