In Kyiv, Russian attack leaves several injured, including children

Russians attacked Kyiv with strike drones overnight on October 26. As a result of the assault, several people were injured, including children, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko.
"As a result of the attack, a child was injured and hospitalized," the statement said.
Later, Tkachenko clarified that the number of injured had risen to three, and then to five people, including two children.

Earlier this night, at 2:27 AM Kyiv time, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv due to the threat of drone attacks. Shortly afterward, a series of explosions was heard across the capital.
So far, the consequences of the strike have been confirmed in at least two districts, Desnianskyi and Obolonskyi.
In the Desnianskyi district, a Russian drone hit a nine-story residential building at the level of the 2nd–3rd floors. At another address, debris from a drone fell onto a 16-story building.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, a multi-apartment building caught fire in one location in the Desnianskyi district. Meanwhile, in the Obolonskyi district, debris damaged the roof of a high-rise building.
