A fire broke out between a residential building and an educational institution in Kyiv's Darnytsia district during an air attack, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and Kyiv City Military Administration.
“According to preliminary information, there is a fire between a residential building and an educational institution in Darnytsia district. Units are on their way to the scene,” Klitschko wrote.
Earlier, he reported on the work of air defense on the left bank of the capital.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that according to preliminary information as a result of the air attack on Kyiv, debris fell in the Darnytskyi district. Information on possible damage or casualties is being clarified.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported an attack by kamikaze drones. The UAVs were on the border of Chernihiv and Kyiv regions and were heading towards Kyiv.
Powerful explosions were heard in the capital.
