In Henichesk, Russian army builds up forces - Partisans
In the temporarily occupied Henichesk in the Kherson region, there has been an increase in the transfer of reserve forces of the Russian army. The enemy's officer corps is concerned that this may be linked to plans to launch an offensive on the right bank of the region, according to the Telegram channel of the partisan movement Atesh.
An agent from the Ukrainian underground, who is connected to the Russian officer corps of the Russian forces Dnieper, revealed information about the buildup of forces in the Henichesk district.
It is noted that among the Russian servicemen deployed to the area are many soldiers who joined the Russian army during the covert mobilization from the occupied Crimea.
"Part of the officer corps is in a panic, suggesting that this is being done in preparation for an offensive on the right bank of the Kherson region," representatives of the partisan movement reported.
The Atesh also pointed out that it remains unclear whether the Russian military leadership intends to deploy these new reserves into combat in the Kherson region.
Partisans note that such actions by the enemy could also be an attempt to misinform the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Situation in the Kherson region
After the liberation of Kherson during the counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the fall of 2022, when the Russian army was pushed back from the right bank of the Kherson region, it retreated to the eastern bank of the Dnipro River.
Since then, there have been occasional reports in the information space about the enemy's alleged intentions to resume an offensive on the right bank of the Kherson region. However, such claims have been linked to enemy psychological operations.
Recently, the Defense Forces reported that Russian forces are attacking along the entire front line in southern Ukraine, but no significant concentration of enemy forces for a large-scale offensive has been recorded.
Additionally, at the end of October, the spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn, stated that the Armed Forces control most of the islands in the Kherson area. He also noted that the Russian army attempts daily to land troops and establish a foothold on the right bank of the Dnipro.
