If America and Europe don't quit - Zelenskyy considers negotiations with Putin

Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia are possible. However, it is important to provide security guarantees from Western partners, stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with the British broadcaster ITV News.
Zelenskyy said that he would be ready for any format of negotiations with Russia if he had a clear understanding that the United States and Europe would not abandon Ukraine.
"If I had an understanding that America and Europe would not abandon us, and they would support us and give us security guarantees, I would be ready for any format of negotiations," the president emphasized.
Earlier in the same interview, the Ukrainian president emphasized that the end of Russia's war against Ukraine in 2025 is possible. For more details on how Zelenskyy sees it, see the RBC-Ukraine article.
Zelenskyy has already said that he is ready to negotiate with Vladimir Putin. At that time, he emphasized that he was not against such a development if it was the only option that would bring peace to the citizens of Ukraine and not lose people.
US President Donald Trump said he had a phone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The American leader wanted to try to negotiate with the Kremlin leader to end Russia's war with Ukraine.
